Coffe as an Exfoliator - DIY body scrub

So what is Exfoliation ??
It’s a process of removal of dead skin from your outermost skin surface. Exfoliation can be done using natural as well as chemical means…
What you are going to learn from here is the natural process (of Course !! )

The results will be visible after the first wash itself and over a period of just 3 to 4 week’s time you will see evidently healthier skin.
One of the great benefits of using coffee on skin is reducing cellulite because coffee dehydrates your fatty cells causing cellulite to diminish, making your skin smoother.

What do you need?
No complicated or costly ingredients…It’s just with basic ingredients you can achieve more than what you could have expected.

Ingredients:
1.       Coffee powder (coarse) - (half a cup)
2.       Semolina or 'Suji' (half a cup)
3.       Sugar granular (half a cup)
4.       Coconut or olive ( as per your skin type)

What to do?
1. Mix all the ingredients together in a bowl
2. Add oil to the mixture. The quantity of oil depends on your skin type. If you have oily skin - you probably want quantity to be less, if you have dry skin – you can add it a bit more.

How to use?
1. Make the mixture immediately before your bath, this is to avoid the suji from soaking up the oil and sugar from dissolving.
2. You can use the mixture on your entire body and scrub it till sugar dissolves; though keep it away from your eyes.
3. Leave it on for at least 10 minutes before bathing.
4. You can use the same on your face as well, however don't leave it on. Rinse it off immediately with your face wash.

How often to use it?
2 times a week as your skin needs time to rejuvenate from the vigorous exfoliation and over use can cause open pores causing body acne.

What not to do?
Not use hot water as it is likely to reduce the effect of this mixture making your skin dry quickly.
Pat-dry yourself after your bath and avoid rubbing the towel to avoid rashes.

So do try this mixture at your home and let us know how you have felt after using it.
